E-mail metadata and search functions
The optional registry and filing characteristics you enter do not change the actual e-mail. They are saved in the search database and are available as an additional query. The automatically generated registry and filing characteristics contain all the characteristics of the email itself that you can also search for. This includes the email addresses of the sender and recipient, date, time and subject, as well as the complete content of the email itself.
E-mail attachments and long-term access
In addition, PDF attachments are read by BvLArchivio's built-in font recognition and then saved as a separate file in BvLArchivio. The attachments are therefore available independently of the e-mail. With this option, you can also search for the content of an e-mail attachment in the archive at a later date without knowing which e-mail you received this attachment with.
In addition, such e-mail attachments can be accessed independently, so that no e-mail client is required. This means you can access emails years later, regardless of the actual recipient at the time. You could reply to this e-mail years later, forward it or just view it. With BvLArchivio, you can be sure that your emails will neither be manipulated nor lost in the mass of emails.
